The business partners, once college roommates, had their sights set far above any job they could have landed at the time. While keeping their current jobs, they worked tirelessly researching the market, the products and the means to financial assistance. While creating their business plan, they learned a lot about themselves -- mostly that they had no idea what they were doing and no one wanted to drop money at their feet.

If only you could see their first catalog, while incredibly professional looking, it showcased a whopping nine products. It drained their savings, but the return on investment gave them hope. Oh, and did I mention, they were running this new gift operation out of their college housing?
Keeping the eye on the ball, they worked diligently, finding out every day that they didn't know much about running a business. With the absolute worst means of financial backing, credit cards, they pressed on. The results have been tremendous. They have doubled and even tripled their revenue each year making for a "banner" year once again in '05. Their newest endeavor was opening a new "Corporate Promotions" division earlier this year allowing them to offer thousands of new items.
